About Fiona Johnson Jewellery

Memories of driving along dirt tracks and beaches on wild Greek islands in an old family Landrover from the age of eight has always inspired Fiona  to design and create her sterling silver jewellery.

Her unique pieces slowly evolve as she lovingly crafts them in her Norfolk studio.

The inspiration for each item begins on an idyllic island, in a twinkling blue sea, a stony shoreline, a rambling river or a local green lane. Interpreting images and memories with silver, sometimes embellishing them with semi precious stones, copper and brass, Fiona spends hours creating something special from a single sheet of silver.

No piece is mass produced, designs may be similar but never the same.

Each piece is a story waiting to be told.

Here are some examples of jewellery Fiona has made with the inspiration behind them, some are rather unusual!

A crumbling Greek jetty with amazing blue waters sparkling through the gaps is now immortalized into a large cuff with deep blue agate stones.

Water droplets from a heavy Greek downpour onto a perspex hatch of a boat inspired this etched bangle

Beautifully crafted Menorcan path gate is now transformed into a bracelet - probably the only one in the world!!

On the Island of Paxos in the beautiful harbour of Lakka there a  peculiar pile of planks hammered over an old window, now transformed into a pretty brooch.
